Lindsay Foret is a Philadelphia-based Wardrobe Stylist with decades of experience in creative direction and visual storytelling whose portfolio ranges from feature films to clients like Target, HGTV, and ESPN.

Her interest in fashion began in her teens. “I used to love Paper Magazine, The Face and all of the indie fashion magazines of the 90’s,” she says. “I was inspired by the grunge and punk frontwomen, and the whole DIY spirit of that era. My friends and I would thrift all over the city to create looks for nights spent seeing our friends’ bands or our favorite touring acts in Philly.”

Lindsay started her career in the film industry after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, but in time she felt called home where for almost two decades now she has been associated with some of the best and brightest directors, photographers, producers and agencies in the Philadelphia area.

As a wardrobe stylist, Lindsay loves creating characters more than anything, and her early love of customizing her clothes and creating comes into play still. “I love when I get to distress wardrobe,” she muses. “I love cutting it, dyeing it, aging and distressing. I love pattern mixing. I love when I have a project allows me the time and creativity to really scour for pieces that have personality.” When that time isn’t there, Lindsay still excels; She is known for her flexibility and calm nature, especially in high-pressure situations with tight turnarounds or seemingly impossible challenges. No matter what, she always finds a way to make things work.

No matter the project, Lindsay’s rich experience combined with her strong sense of aesthetics and trends, her project-based organization, and her love of being part of a creative team where she gets to mesh with the creative visions of her collaborators, make her a go-to stylist both in the Greater Philadelphia market and across the country.

Reflecting on her career, Lindsay shares, “From commercials to children’s programming, photo shoots to music videos, I’ve been grateful for so many eclectic opportunities. The communal spirit of our industry continues to inspire me.”
